Are reservations required?Walk-ins are welcome, although we do recommend placing a reservation to secure a table and avoid disappointment. Those who have allergies or specific dietary requirements should call in advance so that we can fully accommodate your needs.

Are there menu options for those with allergies or other concerns?When you place your reservation, please let us know about any dietary restrictions or concerns you have. We are happy to substitute ingredients or make other suggestions.

What’s the dress code?The dress code is elegant casual. (Overnight guests should note that the yukata and loungewear provided in your room may not be worn to the Lakehouse.)

Is there a parking fee?Three hours of complimentary parking are provided to those with a sales receipt of 20,000 yen or more. After three hours, the general parking fee of 1,000 yen per hour applies.

Are pets allowed?Assistance dogs including guide dogs, mobility support dogs, and hearing dogs are permitted. All other pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Is there a shuttle bus?There is no shuttle bus. From the JR Nikko and Tobu Nikko Stations, kindly hire a taxi or ride the Tobu Bus and deboard at ‘The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko’ stop. -
Is the restaurant accessible by wheelchair? What about strollers?We do have barrier-free seating. Please let us know your preference for this when you place your reservation. -
Can the Lakehouse be booked for a private party?Yes. Please contact us at your convenience to discuss your plans. -
Are photographs allowed?When taking photographs for personal use, please be considerate of other diners. Refrain from using a flash, and frame your photos so as not to include guests who are not in your party. Tripods or other intrusive gear may not be used in the restaurant. For commercial shoots, please contact our public relations department. -
What are the hours for the Grab & Go counter?The counter is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., but may close sooner should the available items sell out. -
Is it possible to reserve Grab & Go items?Yes! The Lakehouse accepts Grab & Go orders until 9 p.m. on the previous day. -
Is it possible to eat Grab & Go items inside the restaurant?Grab & Go items may be enjoyed on the terrace or, weather permitting, at our lakeside picnic area. -
Are children allowed in the restaurants? From what age?All guests of any age, including infants and children, are most welcome in our restaurants. Should a child's lound or unruly behavior be a disturbance to other guests, however, please note that a member of our staff may step in to ask you to be mindful of others' comfort. If necessary, we may recommend an alternative arrangement for your own dining pleasure.
